A 2-foot length of rope for each person.
Put two people in a ring. Players tuck their length of rope under their belt at the back, and grab one foot with one hand and hold it off the ground. They will try to take the other person's rope (simulating a feather, though they don't bear much resemblance) and protect their own.
No points for knocking the other person off balance (though penalties/restrictions may need to be imposed for violation of the need to walk like a rooster). If that is a problem, you could give points for knocking the other person over, or say that they can't score points within ten seconds of having both feet on the ground.
Each rope pull gets a point. Two out of three points wins.
