Ingredients
5lbs. hamburger, 3cups oats, 1/2 onion, dash of worcestershire, 1 can evaporated milk, garlic powder, onion powder
Equipment
Dutch oven,Ice cream scoop, large mixing bowl
*can also be cooked at home before you leave and reheated in a pot on a propane stove
Instructions
combine meat, oats, diced onion, worcestershire, and milk (start with 1/2 can). mix thoroughly. Keep adding milk as needed.(just like making a meatloaf) season as you like. Use ice cream scoop to scoop meatballs onto pan or into dutch. If cooking at home: 30 minutes @ 350. If in dutch about 35-40 minutes. (may have to do several batches in dutch) makes about 50 large meatballs
Commentoffer several sauces(i.e. bar-b-q, pizza sauce, etc.) to make a complete meal or cover with spaghetti sauce and cook up some noodles for awesome spaghetti and meatballs!
