Service Project Description
My project consisted of collecting 6000 new and slightly used children's books and taking them to an underprivilaged elementary school. I invited the First Lady of West Virginia and she read to the children. I also organized a "Books Alive" program that allowed a character from a children's book come alive. Overall it was a very rewarding experience!
