Service Project Description
I organized an encampment made up of historical accurate tents, furniture, and scouts and community members dressed in authentic confederate uniforms. Each person involved portrayed a specific member of a unit from my area that fought in the civil war. I held the encampment during our annual tour of antebellum homes in my home town. Tour groups came through the encampment and asked questions and learned about that part of our town's history. Great success
