Service Project Description
For an Eagle Scout Project, the scout collected 5800 children's books and distributed them to children ranging from preschool to middle school. They also held a "Books Alive" Program along with a visit from the First Lady of the state who read to the students. To greet the children in the distribution room was "Bobby the Reading Bobcat" (The Bobcat was the mascot of the Eagle's School). It was a great experience to witness first hand.
