Humane Society Courtyard
Service Project

Service Project Description

The courtyard at the Greenville Humane Society was cleaned up and made safer for visitors and pets. There was a brick retaining wall that was leaning dangerously over a narrow walkway. The retaining wall was rebuilt and shortened. There were several dead and dying trees in the courtyard that were dropping limbs where visitors walked dogs. These trees were completely removed and the stumps were grinded. This made more room for the guests to visit with the animals and took away the risk of limbs falling on people and animals.
