Service Project Description
The Rose Education Foundation funds three schools in Guatemala and is always looking for help from scouts. I took flyers to my neighborhood asking for school supplies. My troop and I went to pick them the following Saturday morning. The next week, we were outside Walmart for two days after school and all day on Saturday. We raised over $2000 and collected two full truckloads of school supplies. The funds paid to ship the supplies to Guatemala.
