Service Project Description
Once per month our community has a recycle truck stationed at our civic center parking lot. We can bring paperboard, cardboard and various other recycle-able products that we cannot leave at the end of our driveway with the curbside program.
We had our bear scouts meet at the civic center parking lot one Saturday for 2 hours and offered to unload the recycle material from cars that pulled up. This was after prior arrangement with the trash company that managed the truck.
