Service Project Description
A scout in our troop organized a medical equipment drive, gathering 1000+ pieces of used equipment that was sent to Africa. He advertised, solicited, then organized the troop to make the pickups and clean the equipment. Everything from prosthetics to wheelchairs to diabetic testing equipment. He found donations for shipping from local businesses. He was written up in the newspaper with a very large article and photos.
