Service Project Description
I built two retaining walls on the side of a planter box in front of the Roseville Elks Lodge and installed two 30' Flagpoles to display the American flag and the BPOE Flag. I also did a flag retirement ceremony for the old flag on the old flagpole. I organized fundraisers and collected a total of $900 that I used toward supplies such as concrete, brick, and rebar for the retaining walls. I found a mason to help with the retaining wall and an electrician to install lights for the flags. I applied a stain to the concrete to gove off a marble stone look. Now the Elks Lodge has two 30' satin finished flagpoles in front of their lodge.
