Service Project Description
I measured the existing ceiling in the VFW Building, estimated the amount of ceiling tile required and recruited fellow scouts to remove the old ceiling tile and replace with new ceiling tile. The tile was furnish by the VFW/Legion. I also recruited an adult to replace the old incandescent light fixtures with flourescent fixtures. Taking the tiles out of the building was a mess and I got hit on the head by a huge liquor bottle that was hidden in the ceiling!
