Service Project Description
I conducted an Organ Donor Awareness Drive in three states. In my community at the local Sam's Club, I educated the community on the importance and need of being an organ donor. This project came to mind when my 15 year old cousin died while waiting for organs to become available to save her life; and when my dad died of liver disease because a liver was not available. During my awareness drive in my community alone, I recruited 107 new organ donors.
