Oh Tom the Toad

Lyrics

Chorus: Oh Tom the Toad, Oh tom the Toad, Why are you lying(or, why did you jump in the road.(into the road) (Chorus again) You were so big, and green and fat. But now you’re small, and red and flat. Oh Tom the Toad, Oh Tom the Toad, Why are you lying In the road. You didn’t see the pickup truck, and now you are a hockey puck. Oh Tom the Toad, Oh Tom the Toad, Why are you lying In the road. You used to eat a fly or two, but now the flies are eating you. Oh Tom the Toad, Oh Tom the Toad, Why are you lying In the road. You were my friend, but now you’re dead, You bear the mark of tire tread. Oh Tom the Toad, Oh Tom the Toad, Why are you lying In the road. You jumped onto the yellow line, and now you are a glob of slime. Oh Tom the Toad, Oh Tom the Toad, Why are you lying In the road.

Actions

There are no actions required…but you can add some of you like. There are many other verses besides these, but I decided not to add all of them. I just chose the ones I enjoyed most. My friend and I made up the pickup truck one, as well as the verse about the flies. I haven’t seen those verses anywhere else, so I decided to add them here.

Comments

This song is best sung with the upmost seriousness, to invoke the best case of sarcasm.
