Started Scouts in Ogden, KS, moved to Germany where he entered Troop 98 (Bad Kreuznach with Ronnie Feather as Scoutmaster). Worked wtih Troop 197 in Dexheim, then moved to Copperas Cove, TX in 1993 (Troop 252) where he earned Life. Moved to Winchester, IN into Troop 58 where he earned his Eagle in Nov 1995. Graduated from Winchester Community HS in June 1996, went to Ball State (Muncie) and graduated from there in May 2000 with a degree in Wildlife Biology, and minors in Environmental Management, Natural Resources, and Spanish. Was VP of The Ball State Chapter of the Wildlife Society and worked closely with the hacking of 6 Peregrine Falcons. Also went to Belize and Costa Rica for field studies. After graduation, did field research in Minnesota and Wisconsin (mist-netting birds/owls, banding, and tracing nesting sites). Is currently working with the Raptor Center in Roxbury, NY as a bird of prey caretaker with Jonathan Wood and earning his falconer's license.
