NUMBER OF YEARS IN SCOUTING: Brent joined Boy Scouts in June of 1999 and has been an active member of the troop for 4½ years.
LEADERSHIP POSITIONS HELD IN TROOP: Brent has served the troop in the following positions of leadership: Quartermaster, Assistant Patrol Leader, Assistant Senior Patrol Leader, and Assistant Junior Scoutmaster.
NUMBER OF MERIT BADGES AND/OR SKILL AWARDS EARNED: Brent has earned 53 merit badges. Brent has earned the Mile Swim Award, attended Junior Leadership Training, and received three Scouting Spirit Awards
SPECIAL SCOUTING HONORS: Brent earned God and Country Religious Award, Camp Staff Coup, World Conservation, three Scouting Spirit Awards, Two High Adventures, Foxman, Brave, Warrior, and Firebuilder in the Tribe of Mic-O-Say.
MAJOR SCOUTING ACTIVITIES: Brent participated in the Florida Sea-Base High Adventure Program, and the High Adventure to Mount Rushmore. He has served for two summers as a counselor on the staff at the Rotary Camp for handicapped Boy Scouts.
BRIEF DESCRIPTION OF EAGLE PROJECT: Brent’s eagle project was to supervise scouts who removed asphalt, planted a garden area, and installed a privacy fence at First Baptist Church of Lee’s Summit.
