Bio / AccomplishmentsEric Maurice Summers, II of Upper Marlboro, MD started at age five from Tiger to Cub Scouting, Pack 1294, then Boy Scouting, Troop 1294, under Scoutmaster Gregory P. Harrod, which held meetings at St. Joseph Church in Largo, MD. He became an Eagle Scout on January 15, 2002 at Charles Herbert Flowers High School, Springdale, MD through his Board of Review. The Eagle Scout ceremony was held on April 6, 2002 at Charles Herbert Flowers High School. He earned 37 merit badges. He completed his Eagle Scout service project, which entailed the rebuilding of a 30 foot section of boardwalk with the clearing and lining of a trail in the Fran Uhler Natural Area Park, Bowie, MD, part of the Patuxent River Wetland Park. This project enables hikers and bird watchers greater access to the natural habitat of the wildlife in the Fran Uhler Park.
