TitleSecuring Axles
CategoryBuilding the Vehicle
CommentI saw a good way to secure axles and yet be able to adjust them if you'd like. You can use a round head screw, counterbore first, so the head doesn't stick too far below the car bottom. Benefits: you don't have to wait for glue to dry or worry about getting it on the wheel, and you may also shim the axle end near the middle of the car to tilt the axle so that the wheel doesn't rub as much on the side of the vehicle.
