CommentOn the night before the Pinewood Derby, make the actual race scale available for Cub Scouts to come and weigh their cars.
It will save a lot of time at the Pinewood Derby if many of the cars are already adjusted to the right weight. The pinewood derby cars will need to be weighed again at check in, but likely will not need to be adjusted.
If possible, also have the track available so the boys can take ONE test run of their pinewood derby car. This will make sure that any last minute adjustments can be made to make sure each cub scout's car can at least make it down the track!
