At Camp Morrison
Verse 1 When we were eleven years old, livin’ in Middleton, We are to who our leaders spoke and this is what they said, The people at this camp are really, really good, I’m sorry we havn’t gone, We’ll build a big lean to in the woods, well get in before it rains. Chorus It’s ‘bout a mile high, ‘bout a mile wide, larger than a football field, It’s filled with a ton of Christmas trees took a whole lot of years to grow, It could hold eight people, it’ll hold the zoo, and the stuff that make you say Pee-You, (High pitched Pee-You) We didn’t get much sleep but we had a lot of fun here at Camp Morrison, Verse 2 Us boy scouts brought the skunks in, we brought ‘em in two by two, The tenderfoots came along and cleaned up the mess they made when they went number two, (High pitched Pee-You) Two hundred years came passin’ by, the leaders finally came, We hid behind a dozen trees and listened for some screams, Repeat Chorus Verse 3 It rained 5 days and 5 nights, our camp tossed to and fro, The leaders eyes got really, really big and then you should have seen ‘em blow, For almost a year we waited at home, plannin’ on comin’ back, But the best darn thing ‘bout camp Morrison, is hearin’ the leaders scream, Repeat Chorus Repeat last line We didn’t get much sleep but we had a lot of fun (stretch for 2 beats), here at camp Morrison (stretch for 4 beats).
