Any soldier Care Packages for Troops over seas

I sent 30 personal care packages directly to soldiers serving over seas. Soldiers use a web site to post their wishes of things they can't get over there. This non profit web site was started by an Eagle Scout. I started by e-mailing everyone I know to see if they want to donate anything on the list. I stored items in the garage on shelves. I then set up scouts at Shoprite to hand out lists so people could give an item on their way out. School children wrote notes and collected over 200 beanie babies to send. After a month I collected my addresses from the web site. packed boxes of their wishes and sent out directly to soldiers At APO.They got the boxes in 7-10 days and wrote back and sent pictures and e-mails. Out of state family sent donations of money for postage. I spent $300.00 for postage. This project took about 2 months. and the American Legion Aux. took the left over items and started their own Anysoldier campaign. This project was fun and very rewarding. The troops really apreciated it.
