Title Short Splice Tug-of-War
Equipment Each pair of teams will need a 4-foot long piece of rope, and 2 15-foot long pieces of rope.
Play For each pair of teams: line up teams like in Tug-of-War, and place the 4-foot rope between them perpendicular to the dividing line, so that each end is facing a team. Give a 15-foot length piece of rope to each team. On signal, Each team will splice their 15-foot rope to their end of the 4-foot one. After 4 minutes, a signal, and the teams will try to pull the other team across the line.
Scoring The first team to pull the other team across the line, with their splice intact wins. If a team's splice fails, they lose.
