Title Nest Banding
Equipment A different color of yarn for each patrol/den.
Play Each scout has a piece of yarn, and each patrol/den is assigned their own color. Scouts will comb over a defined area with set boundaries. Scouts will "claim" a nest by tying their piece of yarn or string around a branch by the nest. When the given time period is up, leaders will determine how many nests each patrol/den has found.
Scoring Each patrol/den gets one point for each nest found, and the patrol/den with the most points wins.
