Title Split the Match Relay
Equipment Each patrol needs a scout ax and chopping block, and each Scout needs a match stick.
Play line up each patrol in front of their respective chopping blocks and axes. On cue, the first scout approaches the block and places his match head up on top of it. The scout has three tries to split the match with the ax. After their three tries (or if the split the match) the scout will hand off the ax to the next person in line and go to the end. This will repeat until all scouts have had a chance to participate.
Scoring When all scouts have had a turn, the patrol with the most split matches wins. It is NOT a race.
